[Case Study of Municipal Bicycle Parking] Designed with consideration for the use of large bicycles for comfort.

The large bicycle-only area is designed with a wider average spacing between racks, allowing for comfortable use even when fully occupied!

We would like to introduce an example of a comfortable public bicycle parking facility designed with consideration for large bicycles, located near Komazawa University Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, in a three-story bicycle parking plan. In this area, which has a high population of families, there was a request to accommodate a total of 400 bicycles, with a desire for 100 of those (25%) to be suitable for large bicycles. Due to limited installation space at this property, we secured the desired number of spaces by combining slide racks for large bicycles with upper racks for general use.
