The ultrasonic gas meter "Q. Sonic MAX 6" achieves the widest operating range as a multipath ultrasonic gas meter for custody transfer measurement.
The Q. Sonic MAX6 ultrasonic gas flow meter is a multipath ultrasonic gas flow meter that adopts the most accurate acoustic path configuration available on the market. Multipath ultrasonic flow meters have become the mainstream method for measuring flow in large pipelines, particularly for the storage and transportation of natural gas. This trend is driven by many reasons, including excellent measurement accuracy, high turndown, outstanding resistance to installation effects, and cost efficiency. In particular, the design of upstream piping and its operating conditions determine the velocity profile of the fluid passing through the flow meter. To minimize these installation effects, the Q. Sonic MAX6 meets and exceeds OIML accuracy class 0.5.
