The DK-SF08G (DKSF08G) is a GPS location information system manufactured by Alinco. It is a compact GPS tracker that communicates via Sigfox. It transmits location data obtained from signals from GPS satellites to smartphones and tablets anywhere within the Sigfox area using Sigfox communication. *Sigfox is one of the LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) networks, which covers 98% of the population in Japan and is a global IoT network. It is characterized by low cost, low power consumption, and long-distance transmission. In Japan, Kyocera Communication Systems Co., Ltd. operates services using the frequency band regulated as active tags in the 920MHz band. It is deployed in over 70 countries worldwide (as of January 2023), using the 868MHz band in Europe, the 902MHz band in the United States, and the 920MHz band in the Asia-Pacific region. *It can also be integrated with a web browser application from Alinco under a separate contract.
