Construction Case Study: Financial Institution. Utilizing Full Glass Facade. Solving Problems!
Akarina Contract
Blinds that make the most of full glass walls.
A modern store with a full glass facade, rebuilt on a corner lot facing north and east. Since the sunlight becomes poor in the afternoon, we adopted the Akari-na Contract Milky 70 vertical blinds, which have high light transmission performance. At night, by utilizing the light transmission performance of Akari-na C, digital signage can be achieved simply by projecting images onto the Akari-na C from inside the room. This can be introduced easily and at low cost. The entire window becomes brightly illuminated like an illumination display, contributing to landscape creation and security in the community. ■ Installation Direction ■ North, East ■ Used Blinds ■ Milky 70: Visible light transmission rate of 61.9%. The brightest blinds in the Akari-na range. Reflect: Solar reflectance rate of 84.6%*. Almost no radiant heat is generated. *For Reflect horizontal type. *The Akari light control blinds have different specifications, warranty contents, and services for corporate and personal use. The corporate version of Akari-na is AKARINA contract (Akari-na Contract, abbreviated as Akari-na C).

The use of natural light has been practiced for a long time, and in Japan, shoji screens are a prime example. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in buildings that rely on artificial lighting without incorporating natural light during the day. While natural light has the disadvantage of being affected by weather and seasons, it excels in terms of openness, brightness, and quality of light. Our proposal is to create a space where natural light can be felt more comfortably and pleasantly indoors. This is our concept of "creating an eco-friendly and comfortable environment in harmony with natural light." Our main product, the Akarina C daylighting blind, brings in natural light and transforms it into soft, diffused light to brighten indoor spaces, thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting. Additionally, it minimizes the impact of outside temperatures, reducing temperature fluctuations near windows. As a result, it keeps spaces cool in summer and warm in winter, reducing the load on air conditioning and contributing to energy savings. The slats are highly durable and resistant to light, making them less prone to breakage and ensuring a long lifespan. With an anti-static treatment, they are less likely to collect dust, making maintenance easy. The Akarina C is an economical and environmentally friendly product. *The Akarina daylighting blind is available in versions for businesses and individuals, differing in specifications, warranty, and services. The version for businesses is called Akarina Contract (abbreviated as Akarina C).
