Semi-dry processing: Successful case study of introduction with no cleaning, cost reduction, and improved work efficiency.
There were issues with oil stains around the air blow process and machining equipment after processing. After implementation, there was a 15% increase in work efficiency due to the no-cleaning effect! 【*Trial demo available】
We would like to introduce a successful case study of the semi-dry processing mist device "HPM Technology" implemented at Takahashi Metal Co., Ltd. The company was using water-soluble coolant for mold manufacturing and machining after casting, but they wanted to eliminate the air blow process for the workpieces after machining and the oil stains around the processing machines. Therefore, after conducting a demonstration using our product, the finish of the machined surface was good, and the tool life, which was a concern, was hardly affected. Additionally, the time for the air blow process after machining was significantly reduced, and the dirt around the processing machines improved. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: Eliminate the air blow process for workpieces after machining and oil stains around the processing machines ■ Machining Target: Aluminum die casting ■ Results - Significant reduction in air blow process time after machining - Improvement in dirt around the processing machines - Chips can now be compressed and reused as briquettes *For detailed specifications, please download the PDF or feel free to consult us if you wish to request a demonstration.

basic information
【Result Details】 ■Processing Time: 25 seconds/item → 20 seconds/item (20% efficiency increase) ■Air Blow Time: 7 seconds → 2 seconds (70% efficiency increase) ■Production Volume: 100 items/h → 140 items/h (40% production volume increase) ■Coolant Disposal Cost: 50 yen/L → 0 yen/L (100% reduction) As a result of the implementation, overall work efficiency improved by 15%. The productivity from semi-dry processing has significantly improved not only in the processing area but also in post-processing air blowing and cleaning, as well as the recyclability of chips, when evaluated as a whole. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
