This is a cutlass bearing made from a newly developed material (thermopolymer).
● This is a cutlass bearing made from a newly developed material (thermopolymer) specifically designed for areas that are particularly difficult to maintain underwater. ● It absorbs almost no moisture, resulting in an extremely low expansion rate of 0.07%, making it an optimal material for propeller shaft bearings that require high precision. ● Compared to nylon and bronze, it achieves about half the friction coefficient. With its unique "self-lubricating properties," which include lubricants within the material itself, it consistently exhibits excellent low friction characteristics. ● This product is compatible with our boat's 25mm shaft. ● In our boats, we generally use one bearing in the shaft bracket and a cut bearing that is halved on the hull side. ● Due to the low friction, wear on the shaft is reduced by 90%, which helps to lower maintenance and replacement costs. ● Compared to nylon, rubber, and elastomer materials, it shows almost no compressive deformation even under higher loads in wet conditions. ● The thermal expansion commonly seen in synthetic material bearings is one-third that of nylon or acetal, and there is no deformation due to water infiltration or heat. Therefore, no clearance adjustments are necessary. ● It is also resistant to dilute acids, organic solvents, oils, and petroleum, exhibiting excellent chemical resistance.

Our company was established in 1969 and is located in Shirai, Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture, as a domestic yacht manufacturer. Initially, we only manufactured yachts, but we also entered the RV and camper van industry, which shares many similarities with yachts, and began offering interior construction for camper vans and special vehicles, as well as selling parts. We handle various custom-made products centered around FRP-related items, such as FRP sinks, custom products, and shells for mobile sales vehicles. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
