A sofa inspired by "cattails," which are both a medicinal herb and a symbol of abundance.
This is a sofa series that achieves a soft and rich seating experience through its shape. The legs, inspired by the "bulrush," which is both a medicinal herb and a symbol of abundance, dig into the urethane, further emphasizing the softness of the sofa. By using wood for the visible parts, it creates a gentle impression. The part that curves into the back emphasizes the design's softness while firmly supporting the lower back and gently enveloping the back. ◇ We, Aiai Furniture Manufacturing, are a manufacturer that primarily plans, produces, and sells contract furniture for commercial use, including chairs, sofas, tables, and benches. ◇

Company information
We at Aioi Furniture Manufacturing Co., Ltd. are a manufacturer primarily engaged in the planning, production, and sales of contract furniture. We offer a rich lineup that includes original products developed in-house, as well as a selection of overseas items. Upholding refined design and excellent quality as our fundamental principles, we are committed to advancing new materials and technologies every day. In 2015, we established a design lab in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, as a place to create "beautiful and durable contract furniture," which SOGOKAGU aims for. The design was created by architect Kengo Kuma and reflects the soft furniture that SOGOKAGU specializes in. With the completion of the design lab, we can now achieve a consistent manufacturing process, from design verification to the examination of materials and their combinations. We invite you to take a look at our achievements, including product customization and bespoke design. We sincerely look forward to your patronage.
