This is a compact mobile robot equipped with a patented tape measure mechanism actuator, designed to automate environmental measurements and facility inspections. It can raise and lower sensors and cameras from 40 cm to 3 m using a telescopic mechanism that utilizes a patented tape measure, allowing it to autonomously patrol routes. It is also capable of mapping data such as temperature, humidity, air quality, and video onto a 3D map, and can integrate with facility systems. Examples of use include measuring the illuminance of lights in offices and commercial facilities, monitoring air quality, and detecting water leaks in air conditioning systems, which can help reduce operational costs for facilities and improve tenant satisfaction. BambooBot has obtained a joint patent with Toda Corporation in the fields of "autonomous mobile robots" and "sensor measurement." The "sensor measurement" encompasses CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity, illuminance, radiation, proximity, magnetic, imaging, atmospheric pressure, acceleration, noise, or acoustics, making it a comprehensive content related to environmental measurement.
