We would like to introduce a case study on the effectiveness of the water treatment device "Scale Watcher" in public facilities. Three units of this product were installed in the No. 2 furnace with a capacity of 300t/D. The caustic soda injection rate was 200-250 liters/hour at a concentration of 48%, the Sox emission level was 70-80 ppm/Nm3, and the pH value of the lower circulation water was 8-9 pH. There was a softening and detachment effect on the scale in the desulfurization tower shower line. Additionally, there was a reduction in system downtime due to scale softening.
