Water-related IoT: Water Quality Management System (Oil Concentration)

Water (drain) discharged from air compressors and air dryers contains oils such as compressor oil. Discharging drain that contains oil directly into the wastewater can cause environmental destruction and violate related laws (Water Pollution Prevention Act and Sewerage Act). Additionally, it can lead to problems such as uneven painting due to drain during air blowing, corrosion of piping, and failures of air equipment such as cylinders and solenoid valves. ■ Discharge regulation values under the Water Pollution Prevention Act: Oil concentration (n-hexane extractable substances) must be below 5 ppm.
