Consolidating the processes of in-factory logistics! A case study of adopting AutoStore as a trump card for the "logistics revolution."
We would like to introduce a case study of the logistics system implemented at the headquarters factory of Fanuc Parttronics Co., Ltd. In this factory, production was carried out in a separate system with four buildings for each unit responsible for manufacturing. However, strengthening the production system became a challenge due to the increasing production volume in recent years. After implementation, picking without walking was realized. Additionally, when necessary parts information is entered, it arrives at the port, eliminating unnecessary parts that were previously generated manually, leading to optimization of delivery and providing benefits in terms of "traceability," which is important for manufacturers. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - Strengthening the production system in response to the increasing production volume in recent years. ■ Results - Realization of picking without walking. - Benefits in terms of optimization of delivery and "traceability." - Challenges related to improving productivity were also addressed. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
