DX is read as "Digital Transformation." In fact, simply digitizing daily activities is not what DX is about!
To summarize "Digital Transformation," it refers to adapting to changes in the business environment, shifting and differentiating one's organization, systems, and services to digital, and establishing a competitive advantage. To achieve this, the following steps are taken: The first step is simply the digitization of specific operations and areas (digitization). The second step is the digitalization of business flows and processes (digitalization). The third step involves restructuring the entire workflow of the company, utilizing digital technologies to develop new businesses and build new business models. Only at this point does it finally become "Digital Transformation (DX)." It is also true that many companies working on promoting DX face challenges.
