Siltride is a layer of hydrogenated amorphous silicon nitride. The Siltride coating is composed of amorphous silicon oxynitride (a-SiOXNY:H), a robust chemical that significantly enhances corrosion resistance, hardness, wear resistance, and electrical resistivity. Siltride 1000, the most hydrophilic coating from SilcoTek, meaning it "attracts water," has a low water contact angle of 10°, making it ideal for improving the surface characteristics of critical process flow paths in medical devices, life sciences equipment, and oil and gas facilities. The Siltride coating is SilcoTek's best solution for the most demanding applications.
