■What is the Heat Stroke (WBGT) Index? Heat stroke can occur not only during sports activities but also in daily life and at the workplace. As a preventive measure against heat stroke, the WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) is used as a "temperature standard," categorized into four levels based on temperature: "Danger" (31°C and above), "Strict Caution" (28-31°C), "Caution" (25-28°C), and "Attention" (below 25°C). To calculate the WBGT, it is common to use a black globe thermometer; however, this device simplifies the calculation and display of the WBGT standard using its built-in temperature and humidity sensor.
