The founding of Sakai Woodworking was in 1907. For over 100 years, it has been a long-established factory that has planned and manufactured various types of furniture in line with the changing times. Kumakichi Sakai started making things alone in Okawa, gradually increasing the number of apprentices, and has grown alongside the company and factory with the support of the people of Okawa. We wish to inherit the spirit of our predecessors, who expanded from Okawa to all of Japan, and to spread the spirit of contributing to the creation of rich and enjoyable living spaces through furniture making from Japan to the world.
