Nagasaki Steel Works during the Taisho era, and it traces back to Mitsubishi Steel Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works, which became independent in 1942. In 1975, it was established by inheriting the industrial machinery and steel structure manufacturing division of the same company. The technology of Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery is based on the skills developed as a cast and forged steel manufacturer since the Mitsubishi Steel era.
