The Disgo treatment is a completely chrome-free high corrosion-resistant treatment that combines a base coat containing zinc aluminum and a top coat primarily composed of aluminum and organic resin (epoxy resin). Since there are no acid washing or electrolysis processes, there is no concern about delayed fracture due to hydrogen embrittlement, making it ideal for high-strength, high-carbon components. There is also a low-temperature treatment variation available, allowing for measures against changes in physical properties of the treated materials. Additionally, regarding the repair of coating scratches, using the always-dry repair paint "Draal" allows for an extended retention of rust prevention capability.
