In a fluidized bed with a porous plate at the bottom, powder is placed, and air is blown in to fluidize the powder within the tank. A preheated workpiece is immersed in the fluidized powder, causing the powder that adheres to the surface of the workpiece to melt and flow, forming a continuous coating.
