The LCS-R method is a general term for waterproofing systems for the renovation of metal substrates (fire-resistant deck plates) and metal roofs (standing seam and tile roofs). There are two types: R1 method and R2 method, which accommodate various construction conditions. The LCS-R1 method is a renovation method that uses a rivet roof waterproofing system for metal roofs. It is suitable for the renovation of standing seam roofs and tile roofs. The LCS-R2 method is a renovation method that performs "re-renovation" using a rivet roof waterproofing system when some form of waterproofing has already been applied to the metal substrate as the existing waterproof layer.
