The Japan Air Self-Defense Force is conducting demonstration experiments utilizing civilian unmanned aerial vehicles, which are dual-use technologies in both security and civilian fields. To quickly resolve the issues identified in these experiments and achieve early equipment deployment (mass production), they are engaged in agile research and development. In particular, the challenges here are common to academia, industry, and government, and opinion exchange meetings are held as a forum for free discussion and innovation creation aimed at rapid resolution.
