Daiwa Tsukiban Industry was founded in 1967 in Hiroshima Prefecture. We handle everything from veneer processing to painting processes in-house, manufacturing and selling natural wood decorative plywood, fireproof materials, custom materials, and various painted products for architectural interiors. We are a manufacturer boasting one of the top production volumes in Japan for custom veneer decorative panels. We have turned our attention to the "scraps" and unused materials generated during the production of veneer products, with the desire to upcycle these scraps and unused materials to contribute to a sustainable future, and to allow many people to feel the warmth of real wood. This led to the establishment of our upcycling brand "FORESTERIOR," which combines the technical skills of Daiwa Tsukiban Industry with the sensibilities of space designers and graphic designers. To give new value to veneer, we pondered how to achieve a sustainable future alongside veneer, and the answer we arrived at was upcycling through design.
