[Case Study of Mapping Drones] Observation of Wildlife and Environmental Conservation
AgEagle
Utilizing mapping drones for wildlife observation and environmental conservation! It is also possible to confirm habitats and track footprints!
We would like to introduce a case study conducted by the non-profit organization WildTrack, which combined FIT (Footprint Identification Technology) with the eBee fixed-wing drone for a demonstration experiment. The organization successfully developed software capable of accurately analyzing footprints, but reducing the time required for data collection was identified as a challenge. This demonstration experiment revealed that it is possible to confirm wildlife footprints using a drone equipped with a high-quality camera. 【Case Overview】 ■ Equipment Used: eBee X fixed-wing drone, Aeria X ■ Target: Mapping off the coast of Beaufort, North Carolina *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
