The "rapid loading test" allows for the practical disregard of wave phenomena occurring in the pile body, and the stresses generated in the pile during the test yield results similar to those of static loading tests. Even with dynamic short-term loads, if a certain loading time is secured, the behavior of the pile is almost the same as that during static tests, where wave phenomena can be ignored. Rapid loading balances the inertial resistance of the pile body, the static resistance of the ground, and the dynamic resistance.
