Impact resistance and wear resistance dramatically improved with FRP + resin mortar!
The "IRM Method" is a waterproofing technique for self-supporting parking lots that combines an FRP waterproof layer with a resin mortar protective layer, offering a lightweight and highly durable solution. By using resin mortar for the protective layer, it achieves excellent water resistance and abrasion resistance with a thickness of just a few millimeters, and it is designed to withstand tire chains and de-icing agents typical in cold regions. There are numerous construction achievements in Hokkaido. This technology is registered with NETIS (Registration Number: KK-230013-A).

Detailed information
-
The wear resistance is very excellent. As a result of the wear resistance evaluation, the IRM method had a wear thickness that was about half compared to concrete slabs.
-
Schedule: After FRP lining, resin mortar will be applied.
-
Construction photos: After removing the defective parts of the existing waterproofing, the IRM method was implemented.
