Newly released with four times the conventional resolution. This single device can capture clear images in all directions: front, back, left, and right, 360 degrees.

Equipped with a newly developed fisheye lens. With a downward angle of 220 degrees, it can capture a large and clear 360-degree view around the vehicle when placed on it. The 12.3-megapixel color CMOS sensor ensures that details are bright and sharp. It connects to the onboard computer with a single USB cable, making installation easy. With the standard high-functionality app included, you can freely perform partial expansion, split panorama expansion, video and still image recording, and video cropping. Since it does not use composite images from multiple cameras, it provides seamless footage. It features a dustproof, waterproof, and shock-resistant housing, compliant with JIS D1601. When used in conjunction with an optional GPS sensor and video mapping software, it enables the recording of driving trajectories and playback on a map. An optional IP unit allows for connection to an IP environment.

Prefectural police vehicles (from 9 prefectural police, approximately 400 units), highway patrol vehicles, fire trucks, inspection vehicles, etc. The vehicles are equipped with cameras installed facing upwards on top of the emergency lights or the hood, allowing a single camera to capture a full 360-degree view around the vehicle, enabling the recording of surrounding conditions and situations that could not be confirmed while driving.

Detailed information

The PLC220-12M placed on the vehicle captures a 360-degree view of the surroundings (sky sphere) of the vehicle.
The front is partially unfolded and displayed. The license plate and sign text can be distinguished. The position of the partial unfolding can be changed freely.
It displays a panoramic view with a 180-degree spread in both directions. It can also be split into two halves left and right.
We are capturing the celestial sphere, so the upper part of the building can also be displayed like this.
