The goal was to create a futuristic security space. A wall mirror that appears to be a dark mirror at first glance transforms into a display shelf when illuminated from within. Furthermore, when you wave your hand over the hidden sensors in the wall (or within the mirror or furniture), the display shelf opens like a door, allowing entry into a security room that protects privacy.
