Tomorrow marks the 12th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. With March 11 approaching and awareness of disaster prevention increasing, I would like to share information about the participatory disaster prevention event "Our Disaster Prevention," held on February 26 in Iitate Village, Fukushima Prefecture. During the event, we set aside a time for a simulated power outage, followed by a "blackout" experience where we lit up electricity using a generator. We also conducted activities such as "food distribution" and "foot baths" using generators and storage batteries.
