G-Eco Disaster Prevention [24th Edition] Experiencing the Reliability of "LP Gas" in Disaster Areas

All employees are certified disaster prevention specialists delivering disaster prevention information!

"Disaster Prevention by G&ECO" is a disaster prevention column written by employees of G&ECO Corporation. All employees are certified disaster prevention specialists who provide disaster prevention information. / Theme of Series No. 24 / 2024 Reflection Report! Experiencing the Reliability of "LP Gas" at Disaster Sites! While reflecting on past disasters, □ Preparing electricity so that we are not troubled if a disaster occurs tomorrow □ The reliability of "LP Gas" at disaster sites We summarize these points. Immediately after the Noto Peninsula earthquake, G&ECO headed to the disaster-stricken area and donated 14 units of the generator "ELSONA GD1600SR," which can use both LP gas and gasoline. During our support activities in the affected area, we realized that "LP Gas" is more accessible than "gasoline," which is difficult to obtain due to purchase restrictions, as it can be sourced from home gas cylinders or cylinders supplied by local governments, making it a resilient energy source in times of disaster. *For more details on the column, please refer to the related links. Noto Peninsula Earthquake - Active in supporting disaster-stricken areas! LP gas and gasoline dual-fuel generator!

Emergency power supply ELSONA that can use "LP gas" and "gasoline" for stable supply during disasters for power outage measures 【*Disaster area support report available】

ELSONA is a generator that can use both LP gas and gasoline, born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In response to the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake" that occurred on January 1, 2024, we donated 14 units of ELSONA to Suzu City and Noto Town as part of our support activities. In disaster-stricken areas, the road conditions are poor, making it difficult for transport vehicles to enter, and there are often purchase restrictions, making it extremely challenging to obtain gasoline. On the other hand, LP gas can be used from home gas cylinders or cylinders supplied by local governments, allowing for a stable supply even during disasters. In the affected areas, it served as a power source for lighting and smartphone charging stations, greatly appreciated by the local residents. Currently, we have surpassed 2,300 units in operational achievements. Many of the delivery destinations are local governments, and last year, 17 units were also delivered to the "Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Narashino Garrison," expanding our areas of activity. For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us. ■GD1600SR Rated output: LP gas 1.53kVA, Gasoline 1.7kVA ■GD5000SR Rated output: LP gas 4.5kVA, Gasoline 5.0kVA ■T-7500 Rated output: Maximum 7.0kVA (50Hz), Maximum 7.5kVA (60Hz)

A generator that can run for about 44 hours on one 50kg LP gas cylinder!

Achieving the class's lightest weight of 52kg! A generator that can use both excellent LP gas and gasoline as backup fuel! A compact, quiet, and high-output emergency power source!

ELSONA is a generator that can use both LP gas and gasoline, born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. G&ECO provided support activities, including supplying generators in collaboration with local governments during the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024. On-site, we witnessed situations where generators could not operate due to a severe gasoline shortage, despite having gasoline-powered generators, and that while LP gas is available as a decentralized energy source, there were no generators compatible with LP gas. This reinforced our recognition of the advantages of having a generator that can use both fuels. With one 50kg gas cylinder, it can run continuously for about 44 hours. *At 50% load. This may vary depending on usage conditions and environment. ■ Supports two fuels, LP gas and gasoline, which are resilient in disasters ■ Rated output: LP gas 4.5kVA, gasoline 5.0kVA Compatible with evacuation centers, businesses, and large facilities nationwide ■ Weighs only 52kg, making it one of the lightest in its class, and is compact ■ First in the series to feature a carry handle for easy transport ■ Equipped with an inverter and designed for quiet operation, resulting in low noise levels during use

A generator that can run for about 100 hours on one 50kg LP gas cylinder!

Ideal for emergency power supply! The lightest in the series, this portable generator is easy to carry! It can use not only gasoline but also excellent LP gas as a backup fuel, providing peace of mind.

The "ELSONA GD1600SR" is the first portable generator in the Elsona series that can be easily carried by women, supporting high outputs of 1.53kVA with LP gas and 1.7kVA with gasoline! It can power various household appliances such as smartphones, PCs, TVs, and refrigerators, making it a versatile portable generator that is useful for outdoor activities and serves as a reliable emergency power source during disasters. In the Noto Peninsula earthquake of Reiwa Year 6, we donated 14 GD1600 generators to the municipalities of Suzu City and Noto Town in collaboration with the affected local governments. Given the difficulty in obtaining gasoline locally, the fact that this generator can also use LP gas was greatly appreciated. With a noise level of 65dB, comparable to that of a train carriage or vacuum cleaner, it is fuel-efficient and can run continuously for about 100 hours (at 70% load) on a single 50kg gas cylinder. *Note: Actual performance may vary depending on usage conditions and environment. 【Features】 ■ Compact design for easy mobility, small yet high capacity ■ Compatible with both LP gas and gasoline, making it strong in emergencies ■ Can also charge portable power sources ■ Inverter type for low fuel consumption ■ Ideal as an emergency power source for homes, offices, and evacuation centers *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Ideal for emergency power! The lightest in the series, this portable generator is easy to carry! It can use not only gasoline but also excellent LP gas as a backup fuel, providing peace of mind.

The "ELSONA GD1600SR" is the first portable generator in the Elsona series that supports high output of 1.53kVA with LP gas and 1.7kVA with gasoline, making it easy for women to carry! It can power various household appliances such as smartphones, PCs, TVs, and refrigerators, serving as a useful outdoor item in everyday life and a reliable emergency power source during disasters, making it a phase-free portable generator. In the Noto Peninsula earthquake of Reiwa Year 6, we donated 14 GD1600 generators to Suzu City and Noto Town in collaboration with the local municipalities affected by the disaster. The generators were greatly appreciated as they could use LP gas, especially when gasoline was hard to obtain in the area. With a noise level of 65 decibels, comparable to that of a train interior or a vacuum cleaner, it is fuel-efficient and can run continuously for about 100 hours on a single 50kg gas cylinder. (Note: Actual performance may vary depending on usage conditions and environment.) 【Features】 - Compact design for easy mobility, small size with large capacity - Compatible with both LP gas and gasoline, making it strong in emergencies - Can also charge portable power sources - Inverter type for low fuel consumption - Suitable as an emergency power source for homes, offices, and evacuation shelters *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Noto Peninsula Earthquake: Active Support for Disaster Areas! LP Gas & Gasoline Dual-Fuel Generator!

Experience support for the disaster-stricken areas of the Noto Peninsula earthquake! Prepare for disasters with an excellent emergency power source that can use both LP gas and gasoline as stockpiled fuel. [Comprehensive catalog available now]

ELSONA is a generator that can use both LP gas and gasoline, born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, we conducted support activities, including donating 14 units of the generator "GD1600SR" to Suzu City and Noto Town in collaboration with local governments. On-site, we witnessed situations where gasoline-powered generators were available but could not operate due to the difficulty of obtaining gasoline, and although LP gas was available as a decentralized energy source, there were no compatible generators. This reinforced our recognition of the advantages of a generator that can use both fuels. In August 2024, the "Nankai Trough Earthquake Emergency Information" was announced, and we have received many inquiries. If you are considering our products, please contact us as soon as possible. ■GD1600SR Rated output: LP gas 1.53kVA, Gasoline 1.7kVA ■GD5000SR Rated output: LP gas 4.5kVA, Gasoline 5.0kVA ■T-7500 Rated output: Maximum 7.0kVA (50Hz), Maximum 7.5kVA (60Hz) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Sponsoring the "Sorabear Sonaeru Project" of the NPO Sorabear Foundation!

G&ECO Corporation will sponsor the "Sora Bear Sonaeru Project" of the NPO Sora Bear Foundation!

At G&ECO Corporation, we have initiated the "1.5 for the future" program, which delivers approximately 1.5% of our generator sales to non-profit organizations working to promote the adoption of renewable energy. We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the "Sorabear Sonaeru Project" by the NPO Sorabear Foundation, which will be the recipient of our support. The "Sorabear Sonaeru Project" aims to enhance the adaptability of preschool children during emergencies and raise awareness about the environment and disaster prevention. This new initiative includes the donation of "portable power sources" and "solar panels," as well as the organization of educational programs on environmental issues and disaster prevention called "Sorabear Workshops" for the children. With a "portable power source," it is possible to charge smartphones and computers, which are essential for communication and information access during power outages, as well as to operate household appliances like electric kettles and microwaves. Additionally, on sunny days, charging can be done using the "solar panels," allowing for outdoor use. This equipment can be used regularly to prepare for emergencies, serving as a power source for disaster preparedness and outdoor play. We look forward to applications from many kindergartens, nurseries, and children's centers. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*

Emergency Power Supply ELSONA Delivery Case Mitaka City, Tokyo Construction Company Headquarters

Connect S-5500 to the distribution board during a power outage! Here is an example of how power can be supplied to the 1st and 2nd floors.

Here is a case study of a delivery made to the headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo. It was introduced as a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measure for the headquarters office. During a power outage, the 'S-5500' is connected to the distribution board to supply power to the 1st and 2nd floors. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Location: Headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo ■ Model Number: S-5500 ■ Purpose: BCP measures for the headquarters office The "ELSONA generator" was born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." In disaster-stricken areas, gasoline stations themselves may have been affected, and there are purchase limits of up to 10 liters per person, making it difficult to obtain "gasoline." In contrast, "LP gas," which is used in daily life, is a decentralized energy source, stored in easily transportable cylinders, and has many advantages, including resilience to disasters. During the support for the disaster area affected by the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," the ability to generate power using not only "gasoline" but also "LP gas" was greatly appreciated by the people in the affected areas. We encourage you to consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Emergency Power Supply Generator ELSONA Delivery Case Iwate Prefecture Otsuchi Town

Regular test runs to prepare for power outages during disasters! Maintaining a state that can be activated at any time.

We delivered the "LP Gas & Gasoline Generator ELSONA" to Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture. In the Crisis Management Office, we conduct trial runs of the generator on the 8th of every month at the town hall, where a disaster warning headquarters is established when weather warnings are issued, and at the central community center, where a disaster response headquarters is set up when tsunami and major tsunami warnings are announced. To prepare for power outages during disasters, we maintain the generator in a state ready for immediate activation through regular trial runs. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Location: Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture The "ELSONA" is a generator that can use both "LP gas" and "gasoline," developed from the experiences of the Great East Japan Earthquake. It has been introduced in over 2,000 units, primarily in municipalities across the country, and is chosen by disaster prevention professionals as a professional-use generator. It is actively used in various locations, including evacuation centers, businesses, factories, welfare facilities, hospitals, gas stations, and broadcasting stations. During the support for the affected areas of the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," it was greatly appreciated by the affected people for its ability to generate power using not only gasoline but also LP gas. We encourage you to consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Using Home as a Shelter: Case Study of the Hybrid Generator Elsona in Private Residences

Introducing the emergency power supply Elsona in preparation for unexpected power outages! A place where individuals can feel safe during disasters.

You requested information on generators and, after careful consideration, you chose the "Elsona" as your emergency power source. While our products are often delivered to welfare facilities and evacuation centers, this time we delivered a generator to a private residence. Why did an individual decide to introduce a generator? It seems there was a particular sentiment behind equipping their home with one. We inquired about the circumstances that led to this decision and the thoughts behind it. *For more details on this interview, please refer to the related link. Delivery of LP gas & gasoline generator to the Hope Village, a support facility for people with disabilities.

Experienced prolonged power outages due to the heavy rain in western Japan. Introduced emergency power supplies to ensure that residents can live with peace of mind.

The heavy rain in western Japan that occurred from June 28 to July 8, 2018 (Heisei 30). The impact was significant in Tokushima Prefecture, where there were damages such as the isolation of communities due to landslides and many households experiencing power outages. When the power goes out, various devices become unusable, making it impossible to maintain the usual way of life. This is particularly burdensome for individuals with disabilities, who may suffer injuries or panic, leading to both physical and mental strain. As a result, the need for BCP (Business Continuity Planning) measures in welfare facilities has been increasing in recent years. Today, we have the facility director of "Kibou no Sato," a support facility for people with disabilities located in Tokushima Prefecture, which was affected by the heavy rain in western Japan. With a capacity of 115 residents, and over 200 people when including day visitors and staff, we interviewed about the importance of electricity felt during the power outage at the welfare facility, as well as the background and thoughts behind the introduction of the emergency power generator "Elsona." *For more details about this interview, please refer to the related links. Emergency power supply introduction - Generator, Nachikatsuura Town Hall, Wakayama Prefecture.

Case study of introducing a generator for emergency power supply and a spot bazooka that can be used for both cooling and heating.

We would like to introduce a case of supplying our emergency power generator "Elsona" to the Nachi Katsuura Town Hall. This area, rich in nature and known for the Nachi Falls, has suffered significant tsunami damage from past Nankai Trough earthquakes. Considering the possibility of disasters occurring not only in summer but also in winter, residents affected by disasters wanted a system that could provide both heating and cooling to prevent them from freezing. As a solution, we introduced our generator along with a spot bazooka that can be used for both cooling and heating. The decision was made because it can utilize a power source (three-phase 200V) to operate the spot bazooka and can run on both gasoline and propane gas. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Destination: Nachi Katsuura Town Hall ■ Delivery Location: Nachi Katsuura Town Elementary and Junior High Schools ■ Delivered Products: Elsona T-7500, 8 units *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Securing emergency power! Delivery of hybrid generator Elsona to Misaki Town, Okayama Prefecture.

We will introduce cases where emergency power supplies have been implemented due to the recent increase in natural disasters and the impact of infectious diseases!

We would like to introduce a case where the town of Misaki has implemented the LP gas and gasoline generator "Elsona" in preparation for potential power outages. In a situation where emergency power sources have not yet been established in evacuation centers, and with the recent increase in disasters and power outage damages, the introduction of emergency power sources for use in evacuation centers was considered. The deciding factor for the implementation was the ability to use both LP gas and gasoline as fuel, along with the ease of maintenance due to the lack of a cover, which led to the purchase. Additionally, the large tires were praised for making it easy to move over rubble. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Misaki Town, Okayama Prefecture ■ Delivered Products: 25 units of Elsona (15 units of S-3500, 10 units of S-5500) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Delivery of LP gas & gasoline generator Elsona to Kamishi, Hadayama 1-chome Community Center.

An example of realizing the importance of power outage measures from the experience of a disaster and introducing emergency power sources using subsidies from the national government, municipalities, and lottery funds!

We would like to introduce a case where we delivered the emergency power supply "Elsona," which is an LP gas and gasoline generator, to the Kamishi Qinshan 1-chome Community Center. Mr. Kitamura, who we interviewed this time, experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 and has long supported the town's disaster prevention efforts as the chairman of the Qinshan 1-chome Disaster Prevention Association, drawing on his experience from the disaster. There is a gymnasium designated as an evacuation center by the city that does not have air conditioning, and he believes that we should create evacuation centers that can operate air conditioning equipment in the event of a power outage due to an earthquake. Therefore, he considered the introduction of a generator with the power to operate air conditioning. As a result, we delivered our product. In cases like this, it is also possible to introduce it using subsidies from the national or municipal governments, as well as from lottery funds. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Kamishi Qinshan 1-chome Community Center ■ Delivered Product: Elsona S-5500, 1 unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Emergency power supply in action during power outages: Case study of Elsona delivery to Chizu Oil Co., Ltd.

The emergency power supply Elsona, which had been prepared in advance for the power outage due to heavy rain, was a great success! We were able to continue operations as usual at the resident base SS!

We would like to introduce a case where our emergency power supply "Elsona" was delivered to Wakasa Service Station of Chizu Oil Co., Ltd. The company originally owned one generator to be prepared for disasters as a "disaster response service station," but with just one unit, they could only operate two out of four fuel dispensers, and the POS system could not be used. In order to register as a "community base service station," they decided to introduce our product using subsidies, allowing them to operate two additional fuel dispensers and the POS system. When they used the generator, they connected the wiring to the building's emergency power supply outlet, and it could be started with just one push, making the activation very smooth. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Destination: Wakasa Service Station, Chizu Oil Co., Ltd. ■ Delivered Product: Elsona T-7500, 1 unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

All employees, certified disaster prevention specialists, deliver disaster prevention information once a month! Exclusive coverage! Introducing a project perfect for Disaster Prevention Agricultural Land Day in column format.

Today, January 31st, is "Disaster Prevention Agricultural Land Day." "Disaster Prevention Agricultural Land Day" can be read as "bou = 1 sai = 31" (disaster prevention) as a play on words. It was established after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which made us realize that agricultural land and ponds are important open spaces in urban areas and recognized as disaster prevention spaces. There is a reason why the content for the February issue is being distributed a bit earlier on this day. In fact, the high school that produced the "Kamado Bench" is "Tottori Prefectural Kurayoshi Agricultural High School." Yes, it is an "agricultural high school." G-Eco Disaster Prevention [14th Edition] Infiltration Report on the Disaster Prevention Event!

All employees are certified disaster prevention specialists and deliver disaster prevention information once a month! Initiatives for disaster prevention spreading from schools to the community! Introducing disaster prevention events in a column.

September is Disaster Prevention Month, and this autumn, disaster prevention drills and events have likely been held in various places, right? I myself attended a "Disaster Prevention Class" at a community center located at the site of a former elementary school near my home, where I conducted an undercover report. Additionally, this report was a delightful opportunity to learn that the initiatives of Kurayoshi Agricultural High School, which ranked third in the "Popular Article Rankings" introduced in the previous special issue, are spreading from the school to the community. G-Eco Disaster Prevention [Part 3] Oh no! Concerns about toilet situations during disasters!

All employees are certified "Disaster Prevention Specialists" and will deliver disaster prevention information once a month! We will introduce the concerns about toilet situations during disasters in a column format!

What are the things in your everyday life that you take for granted and cannot imagine being without? For example, turning on a tap to get water, pressing a button to turn on the lights, or flushing the toilet—these are all essential aspects of daily life, and the more indispensable they are, the harder it is to imagine what it would be like if they were no longer available. In a survey asking, "What are you most worried about during a disaster?" the fourth most common response was "not being able to use the toilet," and it was found that women are more concerned about "toilets" than men. In this "G-Eco Disaster Preparedness" event, I participated in a workshop on "almost paper toilets" and experienced everything from assembling to disassembling the "almost paper toilet." Please take a look. *For more details on the column, you can view it through the related links. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

G-Eco Disaster Prevention [2nd Edition] That's right! Let's go camping!

All employees, certified as "Disaster Prevention Specialists," deliver disaster prevention information once a month! 72-hour endurance at Sky Hill! Introducing G-Eco Disaster Prevention in a column format.

Have you ever wondered how useful "generators" and "batteries" really are when a disaster strikes? While it's understood that "generators" and "batteries" are necessary for disaster preparedness, how effective are they during an actual disaster? It's said that we should have supplies for 72 hours after a disaster occurs, but there aren't many accounts from people who have purchased "generators" or "batteries" and actually used them for 72 hours. G&ECO members have thoroughly experienced this firsthand! *For more details on the column, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for more information.*

Hybrid Generator ELSONA Delivery Case Study - Niyodo Hospital, Kochi Prefecture

Used for lighting such as floodlights! A case where Elsona was adopted as a disaster prevention measure.

We would like to introduce a case where one unit of the "S-5500" was delivered to Niyodo Hospital in Ino City, Kochi Prefecture. This hospital serves as a disaster base hospital and has adopted this as a disaster measure to accept patients who are ill or injured during emergencies. Currently, a large generator has already been installed as an emergency power source, and it is said to be used for lighting such as floodlights. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Niyodo Hospital, Kochi Prefecture ■ Delivered Product: 1 unit of S-5500 The "ELSONA Generator" was developed from the experiences of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." It has been introduced in over 2,000 units, primarily in municipalities across the country, and is a professional-use generator chosen by disaster prevention experts. It is actively used in various places, including evacuation centers nationwide, companies, factories, welfare facilities, hospitals, gas stations, and broadcasting stations. During the support for the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake" disaster area, it was greatly appreciated by the affected people for its ability to generate power not only with "gasoline" but also with "LP gas." Please consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Emergency Power Supply Generator ELSONA Delivery Case Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture

The deciding factor was that it is a hybrid of "LP gas" and "gasoline"!

We delivered "LP Gas & Gasoline Generators (ELSONA)" to Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture. The Eiheiji Town Life Safety Office recognizes the necessity of securing power during disasters and has introduced one unit each to six facilities. There are plans to continue introducing them at various locations in the future. Gasoline-powered generators are subject to gasoline degradation, making maintenance and storage difficult. However, the hybrid generator that uses both "LP Gas" and "Gasoline" has been appealing because it can complement the advantages of both fuels. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture (kindergartens, elementary schools, welfare facilities, etc.) ■ Number of Units Delivered: 6 The "ELSONA Generator" was born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two fuels: "LP Gas" and "Gasoline." "LP Gas" is a decentralized energy source that can be stored long-term and has many advantages, including resilience to disasters. In the support for the affected areas of the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," the ability to generate power using not only "Gasoline" but also "LP Gas" was greatly appreciated by the affected residents. Please consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Emergency Power Supply Hybrid Generator ELSONA Delivery Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture

The starter has been replaced with a one-push type, and new equipment includes a battery charger and booster cables!

We would like to introduce a case where 15 units of the "ELSONA S-5500" were delivered to Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture. Previously, a 900VA generator was used, but upon verifying the power consumption at the evacuation center, it was newly discovered that the 900VA generator could not withstand the inrush power of the equipment being used, which led to the introduction of the ELSONA. The ability to use not only "gasoline" but also "LP gas," as well as its hybrid nature, were key factors in the purchasing decision. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture ■ Delivered Product: 15 units of S-5500 The "ELSONA generator" was born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and is a generator that can use two fuels: "LP gas" and "gasoline." Emergency Power Supply Generator ELSONA Delivery Case Construction Company

Disasters can happen at any time! Shouldn't we put effort into BCP measures on a regular basis?

As part of our BCP measures, we would like to introduce a case where we delivered one unit of the "Elsona S-5500" and seven 20-kilogram LP gas cylinders to a construction company. The delivery location was the rooftop, and a new warehouse capable of housing the Elsona and LP gas was also installed. In case of an emergency, we centralized the outlets in one location so that power can be supplied smoothly from the generator by connecting the outlets to the Elsona. [Case Overview] - Delivery Destination: Construction Company - Delivered Products: 1 unit of S-5500, 7 units of LP gas (20-kilogram cylinders) The "ELSONA generator" was developed from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." Portable generator "ELSONA GD1600SR"

Notice of price revision (price reduction) for the GD1600 series.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. Our Elsona series generators were developed in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. Since then, we have experienced significant power outages due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, 2024, and prolonged power outages caused by typhoons in Okinawa during the summer of 2023. In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we donated 14 GD1600 generators to Suzu City and Noto Town in collaboration with the local municipalities affected by the disaster. In light of these circumstances, we have received numerous inquiries and orders for the compact and lightweight GD1600 series generators. Therefore, starting from March 11, 2024, we will be significantly revising the prices of the GD1600 series to make them even more affordable. We will continue to strive to earn your long-term support, and we appreciate your continued patronage. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

[Media Coverage] Featured in the February 5th issue of "Weekly Building Management"!

[Media Coverage] Featured in the February 5th issue of "Weekly Building Management"!

On February 5, 2024, the "Weekly Building Management" featured a significant article on the "Disaster Prevention Special" focusing on lessons learned from large-scale earthquakes, highlighting the "Bousai Power Generation BOX." According to a survey conducted by Askul in August 2022 on "Awareness, Preparation, and Measures for Disaster Prevention in the Workplace," while only 18.2% of offices stockpile "emergency generators," a higher percentage of 38.1% indicated they would like to stockpile such items if they had decision-making authority. Additionally, the second most common reason for not having disaster supplies was "lack of storage space," cited by 38.1% of respondents. The "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which specializes in power supply and combines storage space, was developed based on these needs. It can also serve a role in "community contribution" by providing power supply during disasters to local residents, alongside the company's own "power outage measures." Since its release, the "Bousai Power Generation BOX" has received positive feedback and numerous inquiries. We encourage anyone considering disaster prevention measures to feel free to contact us.

Donation of a generator using the "Corporate Furusato Tax Payment" to Awara City.

We received a donation of the "Generator Elsona" to Awara City from Shibata Shoji Co., Ltd. using the "Corporate Furusato Tax Donation" program.

Our "Generator Elsona" has a delivery record of over 1,800 units, primarily to municipalities across the country, and is actively used in evacuation shelters in various locations. The donation of the "Generator Elsona" from Shibata Shoji Co., Ltd. to municipalities is the second this year, following the recent donation to Fukuchiyama City in Kyoto Prefecture. They were moved by the efforts to enhance the local disaster prevention capabilities in Awara City, which led to this donation. We hope that this donation will be utilized in disaster prevention training and will serve as a strong ally in securing power during emergencies, contributing to the "safety and security" of the local community.

[Press Release] "Disaster Prevention Power Generation BOX" Now Available!

In the office, in the city. Sonarel's social contribution! A disaster prevention stock specialized in power sources that can contribute to the community as a "power supply" during power outages and disasters.

G&ECO Co., Ltd., Nagata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Resilience Lab Co., Ltd. have launched the "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which combines a generator, storage battery, and solar panel. This product not only serves our own "power outage measures" but also acts as a "community disaster charging station," allowing us to contribute to the region by providing power supply during disasters. The "Noto Peninsula Earthquake of Reiwa Year 6," which struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024, caused significant damage. Our company has been engaged in support activities, albeit modestly, by providing generators in collaboration with local governments in the affected areas. With various supplies in short supply, roads have been cut off in many places, and recovery from power outages is taking time. Moreover, we have witnessed cases where generators are unable to operate due to a lack of fuel, even though they are available and gasoline-powered. The limited passable roads are not only routes for supplies but also for emergency vehicles, making the supply of relief goods challenging. This has reinforced the importance of being prepared in advance. We would be very pleased if we could contribute to the safety and security of your daily life through everyday preparedness. We encourage companies that have not yet implemented their own power outage measures, as well as apartment complexes and regional hubs such as roadside stations, to consider this.

G-Eco Disaster Prevention [16th Edition] Recommended Emergency Food Rolling Stock

All employees are certified "Disaster Prevention Specialists" and provide disaster prevention information once a month! Even if the expiration date is "just barely" acceptable, we won't give up. A recommendation for rolling stock of emergency food!

Emergency food that I have stocked up for "someday." While I would be happiest if that "someday" never comes, it would be a waste to throw it away after it expires! Checking the expiration dates of the emergency food you have stored is also a part of "disaster preparedness." This time, the emergency food provided by Hinomoto Shokusan Co., Ltd. has transformed into three luxurious dishes. The photoshoot took place at the community kitchen "DAIDOKORO" located on the top floor of the building where our Kyoto office is. *For more details on the column, you can view it through the related link. [New Release] Portable LP Gas & Gasoline Generator 'GD5000SR'

G&ECO provided support activities, including supplying generators in collaboration with local governments during the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake" that occurred on January 1, 2024. In the field, we witnessed situations where generators could not operate due to a severe gasoline shortage, even though gasoline-powered generators were available, and although LP gas was present as a decentralized energy source, there were no generators compatible with LP gas. This reaffirmed the superiority of having a generator that can use both fuels. The highly anticipated 'GD5000SR' boasts the highest quality in Elsona's history! It is confidently recommended not only as an "emergency power source" but also as a "generator for everyday use." Please consider it. ■ Compatible with two fuels: LP gas and gasoline, making it resilient to disasters ■ Rated output: LP gas 4.5kVA, gasoline 5.0kVA Suitable for evacuation centers, businesses, and large facilities nationwide ■ Weighs only 52kg, making it one of the lightest in its class and compact ■ First in the series to feature a carry handle for easy transportation ■ Equipped with an inverter and designed for quiet operation *Scheduled to start shipping in April 2024. Specifications may change without notice.

Thank you very much for visiting our company website and catalog, and for your interest in our diesel engine generators. From customer surveys, the most common feedback we received was: - I want to see the actual generators that have been installed. - I want to see them operating under real load. - I want to hear the opinions of companies that have installed them. - I want to see the generators in operation before making a purchase. After all, it’s understandable to feel worried about purchasing a generator without seeing the actual unit first, right? As the saying goes, "Seeing is believing," so we will be holding this tour. It will take place in that area of the Kanto region, where summer temperatures exceed 40°C. We successfully operated our generators this summer as well, so we are confident in handling the heat (sweat). Additionally, it has been confirmed that our generators equipped with the world-leading "Scania engine" are "fuel-efficient." This will surely help reduce daily operating costs. Please note that while we will provide kind and courteous assistance, the meeting and dispersal will be at the site (transportation costs and other expenses will be borne by the customer), so please understand this in advance.
