When a pulling force is applied to the anchor bolt, the arm section bites into the hole wall, resisting displacement. ◆ 4. As the pulling force increases, the arm section grinds against the hole wall, and while resisting displacement, the anchor bolt is pulled out. At that time, the arm section deforms to bend in the opposite direction of the pulling force.
