Washi wallpaper that creates a calm atmosphere. It combines functionality with super water-repellent features and enhances the space with its tasteful colors.
In Japan's hot and humid climate, building materials that excel in breathability and moisture control are essential for creating healthy homes. Typical waterproof wall coverings have poor breathability due to their surface coating, which can cause condensation in the gaps between the walls. However, "Tamagami" features a special point membrane processing that causes water droplets on the surface of the fabric to bead up and roll off, thus providing excellent breathability. Furthermore, by maintaining a state free of excess moisture, it also prevents the growth of mold and dust mites, supporting the creation of a healthy living space. Made from safe and secure natural materials, Tamagami utilizes the breathability and moisture-regulating functions of traditional washi paper while enhancing the waterproof properties of conventional wall coverings, adding a super water-repellent function. 【Features】 - Unique "super water-repellent processing" that repels water while allowing air to pass through. - Uses traditional and trusted Echizen washi, providing a delicate and rich texture. - Does not generate static electricity, preventing dust accumulation and making maintenance easy. Durable and suitable for various interior spaces. *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data from the download section.

basic information
Washi has been used in Japanese architecture for a long time. In the past, earthen walls were common as wall materials, but in tea rooms and other places, a technique emerged where washi was applied to prevent the soil from falling off due to friction, gradually expanding the use of washi as a wall material. Furthermore, beautiful fusuma paper made from Torinoko washi also appeared. The technique of expressing subtle textures with various patterns has been applied to wallpaper, creating a more delicate architectural beauty. "Tamagami" is a super water-repellent wallpaper that has been born from this historical legacy of architectural washi. With its reliable functionality and rich texture, it can be used in various architectural scenes. ◎Textures: 7 types ◎Number of products: 44 items (35 semi-noncombustible, 9 noncombustible) ◎Formaldehyde countermeasure product: F☆☆☆☆ Ministerial certification obtained ●For other functions and details, please contact us.

Company information
To create a better life and better days, we have continued to sell and propose various interior decorative materials. In this context, we have focused on washi paper, which has been used in traditional Japanese architecture for a long time. With the development concept of "clearing environmental issues and being gentle to living environments," we successfully commercialized our own brand wallpaper 'Tamagami' using Echizen washi, a traditional industry in Fukui Prefecture. We are working on the development of washi products, including the washi wallpaper "Tamagami," which retains the breathability and texture of washi while incorporating super water-repellent functionality. We want to convey the unique qualities of washi to many people and hope to pass on the culture of washi to the next generation.
