Waring processing is a method that allows for the efficient machining of long screws, high lead screws, worm gears, and more using a automatic lathe. It employs a special disk equipped with numerous inserts arranged in a dedicated holder that allows for angle adjustments. The disk is offset relative to the workpiece, and both the workpiece and the ring are rotated in the same direction during processing. This method minimizes burr formation and can efficiently process large amounts of material, making it widely used for machining titanium and stainless steel bone screws.
