**Technical Overview** By applying AKROSE(R), it is possible to replace the conventional surface coating formation through plating with the joining of dissimilar metal components. This AKROSE(R) coating technology involves joining the base metal and the coating metal through plastic deformation using a press. In other words, while traditional plating processes involve depositing a coating metal onto the surface of the base metal to achieve a coated structure, the AKROSE(R) coating technology achieves a coated structure by mechanically bonding the components together with strong adhesion.
