Highest Level of Automatic Scatter Radiation Correction Scatter radiation leads to a significant degradation in image quality, especially in CT systems exceeding 300 kV. In line detectors, this effect is mitigated by strong pre-collimation. However, since only a single layer of the test object can be imaged per rotation of the object, this sacrifices measurement time. In terms of measurement time, flat panel detectors are clearly superior due to their larger area. However, due to the lack of collimation, scatter radiation has a maximum impact, making reliable error detection more difficult or even impossible. diScatter can almost completely compensate for this drawback. After performing fully automated calibration measurements, it is possible to conduct a series of measurements of identical and similar test objects in a very short time with high image quality.
