"Electropolishing" that enhances the added value of titanium.
**Features of Titanium Electrolytic Polishing** ◆ High Gloss Finish Achievable It brings out the gloss of titanium, which is difficult to polish. ◆ Clean and Smooth Surface Obtained A surface with low roughness is achieved. Furthermore, it results in a clean surface property without any processing alteration layer or foreign substances. ◆ Polishing of Areas Impossible with Physical Polishing There are areas that cannot be polished due to the size of the polishing tool in physical polishing. Electrolytic polishing allows for the polishing of such fine details. ◇◇ For more details, please download the catalog or contact us ◇◇

【Surface Treatment Example】Electropolishing of Titanium Alloy Bolt (6-4) [Before Electropolishing] Ra (Arithmetic Average Roughness): 0.8923 µm Rz (Maximum Height): 4.0739 µm Fine cutting marks remain. [After Electropolishing] Ra (Arithmetic Average Roughness): 0.0446 µm Rz (Maximum Height): 0.2161 µm The cutting marks have disappeared, the surface has become smooth, and a gloss has developed. The dissolution action of electropolishing has removed residual impurities such as cutting oil, resulting in an extremely clean surface. In this treatment example, both Ra and Rz were improved through electropolishing, achieving a smoothness of approximately 1/20 of the original roughness.

Our company has been engaged in surface treatment technology for over 60 years, incorporating the philosophies of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 into our processes, ranging from metal houseware products to semiconductor manufacturing equipment components. Through thorough quality control and technological development, we provide surface treatment processes that meet the demands of the times. Our electrolytic composite polishing has received high praise, including a letter of appreciation for contributing to the completion of the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC), a high-intensity proton accelerator facility constructed jointly by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) and the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). We perform various surface treatments that maximize the advantages of different metal materials, including electrolytic polishing, electrolytic composite polishing, coloration of stainless steel and titanium, and pickling. In recent years, we have also been involved in surface treatment processing for materials such as magnesium, aluminum, and titanium. Leveraging the expertise in surface treatment developed in the Niigata Prefecture Tsubame-Sanjo region, which is well-known for metal processing, we are here to assist you in solving your problems.
