A hyper bollard chain fence has been adopted on Chomei Route 1 in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. Due to the proximity to the road shoulder line and the drop-off, hyper bollards were installed as a safety measure. The sleeve piles of the underground foundation used for the hyper bollard HYP-01A can be installed in narrow spaces and are effective.
