Minimize even during large currents! Here we present case studies on voltage drop using our products.
Regarding the voltage drop suppression of 'Powertron' handled by Ekon Corporation, we will introduce a comparison case with the Condorfa starting method. In the Condorfa starting method, a large inrush current flows instantaneously during the first and second stages. While there are means to reduce the voltage in the first stage to suppress the inrush current, this also suppresses the acceleration torque, increasing the risk of poor acceleration. Additionally, there is a possibility that the inrush current will be larger when transitioning to full voltage. With our product, although a voltage drop occurs, the inrush current is minimized, and it gradually rises afterward, allowing for the voltage drop to be kept to a minimum. [Case Summary] ■ Condorfa Starting Method - A large inrush current flows instantaneously during the first and second stages. ■ Powertron - A voltage drop occurs, but it can be minimized. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
