The NA-523 is a labeling testing machine used to evaluate the wear resistance of surface mixtures, such as heated asphalt mixtures. The structure of this testing machine features a specimen mounted on it that moves back and forth horizontally (66 cycles per minute), while during those 66 cycles, a wheel equipped with 10 sets of 12 chains (φ250×width 100mm) rotates (at a speed of 200 r.p.m.) and descends.
