We would like to introduce a case study of landscape lighting installation at the World Heritage site "Shiraito Falls." There were various regulations, impacts on flora and fauna, and a situation where installation of structures such as scaffolding was not possible. Due to the nature of being a national scenic spot and natural monument, there were high hurdles for the lighting up. We created a large guard for mist control and supplied all power from a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Due to permit regulations, it was a "one-night-only" event, but it was a great success amidst a large turnout, and the host city of Fujinomiya was very pleased with this "environmentally considerate event."
