basic information
Points to consider when creating items that are pleasing to receive as commemorative gifts ○ Avoid items that are inappropriate for the occasion 【Examples】Items unsuitable as commemorative gifts - Comb: Associated with "suffering" and "death" - Sharp objects: Associated with "cutting ties" - White handkerchief: Used to cover the face of the deceased - Glass products: "Breaking" is associated with separation - Red items: Associated with "fire," making them unsuitable as gifts for housewarming or moving celebrations ○ Avoid large and heavy items While large and heavy items may give an impression of luxury, it is safer to avoid them considering the hassle for the recipient when taking them home. Thinking from the recipient's perspective, it is better to steer clear of large and heavy items. ○ Avoid cheap items Cheap items lack appeal as commemorative gifts, so it is better to avoid them. For example, giving a pen that can be bought for 100 yen may disappoint the recipient, making them think, "Is this all there is for a commemorative gift?" ○ Be careful not to make mistakes with names or dates When including names or dates on commemorative gifts, be careful to avoid mistakes. Printing the wrong name or date can ruin the gift. Check carefully to prevent errors.
