We would like to introduce an example of the Kashi-naga pest control activities we conducted. We installed "Kashi-naga traps" on five trees at a private affiliated junior high school in Suginami Ward, covered twelve trees with sheets and spread cypress pellets, and placed a urethane cover on one tree. The feature of the pest control method using "Kashi-naga traps" is that it suppresses the occurrence of dead trees, which reduces the costs necessary for processing dead trees, thereby lowering the total expenses.
