[Case Study] Solving Layout Issues with Custom-Sized Resin Tanks
Introducing examples of how the layout within plant factories can be freely arranged.
Due to the fixed sizes of ready-made nutrient solution tanks, we were unable to store a tank with the desired capacity in the limited space under the cultivation shelves in the factory. After confirming the specifications such as materials, shapes, and dimensions, we proceeded with design, drawing creation, prototyping, and mass production through PVC welding to manufacture the nutrient solution tanks in custom sizes. After implementation, it became possible to produce nutrient solution tanks tailored to the cultivation shelves, allowing for installation under the shelves and enabling greater flexibility in the factory layout.
