We would like to introduce a case where "nylon coating" was proposed as a method for painting dental impression trays. Stainless steel dental impression trays maintain coldness, making long-term use in the mouth difficult, and they are expensive. Dental impression trays coated with resin on iron have the issue of deteriorating and cracking after about 20 to 30 sterilization cycles performed in the clinic. By applying a heat-resistant and rust-resistant plating treatment to the base material, iron, and further applying our coating, we were able to prevent the deterioration of the base material.
