Easily mix various types of liquid and replace piping! A case study of plant utilization at a soy sauce manufacturing company.
The manufacturing of processed foods primarily based on soy sauce involves a process where various seasoning liquids are mixed and the piping is frequently changed. The liquids are then sent to each mixer, filling machine, and sterilizer. To send liquids to each piece of equipment, we had to remove and reposition the clamps, which was cumbersome and reduced production efficiency. We received a consultation about whether we could improve operational efficiency by utilizing the rotating structure of swivel joint fittings. By installing a "sanitary swivel joint" at the base of the flexible hose, we were able to smoothly accommodate the demand for mixing various products and frequently changing the piping, resulting in improved production efficiency.
