Controlling mold technology and extrusion conditions! A case study that improved the dimensional accuracy of extruded shapes.

We would like to introduce a case where our aluminum technology has been applied to "high roundness extruded materials." Aluminum extruded materials are used in various parts in the electrical, mechanical, and automotive industries due to reasons such as lightweight, recyclability, and good moldability. High roundness extruded materials have made it possible to achieve dimensional tolerances (roundness) within the hollow that were considered difficult for extruded materials, by controlling our long-accumulated mold technology and extrusion conditions, achieving roundness of 50 to 100 micrometers or less (about 1/6 of JIS special grade).
