Vacuum forming is a relatively low-cost molding method, primarily used for industrial trays and retail packaging (blister packs), which involves heating and softening a plastic sheet, then suctioning or adhering it to a convex or concave mold, followed by cooling and demolding to create the desired shape. Our vacuum forming molds made from MDF achieve even lower initial costs (approximately 30% reduction) compared to the aforementioned aluminum molds, and we also accept small lot production, making it useful for customers who want original molded products in small quantities. While there are limitations to shaping with vacuum forming based on sheets, please feel free to contact us if you have any ideas for creating something with plastic. * MDF refers to medium-density fiberboard, which is made by breaking down wood waste and wood chips into fibers and then heating and pressing them with adhesives, resulting in a dense and uniform wood material that considers the recent trends in natural material recycling. * We also accept injection molding, which allows for small lot production while keeping initial costs down. * Due to the structure of the molded products, there may be cases where it is difficult to achieve certain designs with MDF. * Materials used: PS, PET, PP.
