- It transmits 10/100/1000M Ethernet over long distances using optical fiber. - There is one optical fiber, and the connection terminal is an SC connector. - It transmits up to 1 km in multimode and up to 20 km in single mode. - Transmission is done with a transmitter (VAD-SD001G.L1.TRC) and a receiver (VAD-SD001G.L1.RTC). * Although the transmitter/receiver is mentioned for convenience, bidirectional communication is possible. - The transmitted signal is not affected by electromagnetic waves generated by other devices or cables. - No electromagnetic waves that could become noise sources are generated from the transmission cable. - Ground loops that could cause noise do not occur. - It has a case-type metal housing and can be installed independently. - It operates on DC 9-12V (power adapter included). * When installing multiple units, they can be grouped together using a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis.
