[Case Study] Reduction of Fluorine Concentration in the Metal Processing Industry <Toyama Prefecture>

A case where the reduction effect of fluoride and stable treatment effect have enabled discharge without dilution.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of "coagulants for fluorine treatment" in the metal processing industry. In the existing wastewater treatment system, fluorine treatment was performed using a single-stage coagulation process with lime, but the fluorine concentration in the treated water could not reach the target value, and it was diluted with well water before being discharged. After the introduction, by adjusting the inflow of concentrated and diluted wastewater, the concentration of the raw water became constant, allowing for consistently stable coagulation and fluorine treatment.
