This is our self-developed "IoT Rain Gauge" system. The IoT rain observation system transmits rain data counted by the tipping bucket rain gauge to the IoT platform at regular intervals using a dedicated IoT wireless protocol. It is useful for local crisis management by enabling pinpoint short-term rainfall monitoring that cannot be determined by weather forecast data or official observation data, measuring water levels inside and outside small river sluices, and capturing still images for situation confirmation.
