Study Results on Inorganic Powder Coagulants for Treating Turbid Water Containing Hexavalent Chromium
It is possible to reduce the concentration of hexavalent chromium to below the environmental standard value of 0.05 mg/L!
We would like to present the test results of the coagulation treatment of hexavalent chromium-containing wastewater from an industrial waste disposal site using our inorganic powder coagulant, "Super Namit." 500 ppm of "TN315CK" was added to the raw water, followed by strong stirring for 1 minute and weak stirring for 2 minutes. The supernatant was then filtered through rayon non-woven fabric with a pore size of 20 μm, and the filtered water was used for measurement. As a result, it was found that it is possible to reduce the hexavalent chromium concentration to below the environmental standard value of 0.05 mg/L. 【Treatment Conditions】 - 500 ppm of "TN315CK" was added to the raw water, with strong stirring for 1 minute and weak stirring for 2 minutes. - The supernatant was filtered through rayon non-woven fabric with a pore size of 20 μm, and the filtered water was used for measurement. - The measurement of hexavalent chromium concentration was conducted using a pack test. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Processing Results】 ■ The raw water was gray turbid water with a pH of 97 and hexavalent chromium at 1 mg/L. ■ By adding "TN315CK" at 500 ppm, the water was treated to become colorless and transparent, reducing the hexavalent chromium concentration to below the environmental standard value of 0.05 mg/L. * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
