High-level lifesaving equipment was showcased at "Maritime Ship 2023," held from May 25 (Thursday) to May 27 (Saturday) at Tekusupōto Imabari and other locations, at the booth of our partner company, the ship supplies trading company "Shimada Tōki Kōgyō Co., Ltd.," where many products, including equipment for large vessels, were displayed. Takahashi Lifesaving Equipment Co., Ltd. has been consistently manufacturing and selling equipment for lifesaving at water's edge since its founding by Tadayoshi Takahashi in Osaka in 1935. The company was established in Naniwa Ward, Osaka, which at the time had many shipyards nearby, and the demand for lifesaving equipment to be installed on commercial vessels built there was the impetus for its founding. After the war, the era entered a period of high economic growth. Accordingly, Takahashi Lifesaving Equipment Co., Ltd. developed lifesaving equipment for leisure and working boats, and also began manufacturing oil fences and silt fences to protect waterfront environments.
